Comedian Elayne Boosler stated she was arrested at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles Sunday for refusing to go away over a purse that violated the stadium’s bag policy.

‘First Lady of Stand-Up’ Elayne Boosler says she changed into arrested at Dodger Stadium over ‘heated’ purse dispute 2024

“I don’t know how your Sunday went but I wager you it becomes better than mine,” she stated in a video clip published on her YouTube channel.

“Here are my wrists after being handcuffed,” Elayne Boosler said, protecting her arms as much as the digital camera to expose bruised jewelry around her wrists.

Boosler, 71, was on foot into the stadium for the Dodgers matchup against the New York Mets with her contemporary baseball-shaped purse while she was stopped with the aid of safety.

She was instructed that Elayne Boosler wouldn’t be allowed to carry the bag in because it became now not see-thru and that she must throw it in the trash or stroll it back to her car.

Elayne Boosler suggests off the marks on her wrist after she was arrested on Sunday for trespassing.

Boosler stated protection advised her that she couldn’t input the stadium with her baseball-fashioned bag.

But the Brooklyn local refused to leave because Elayne Boosler “paid $50 to park a mile away, [it was] eighty degrees and the tickets have been $300 inside the secondary marketplace.”

Boosler complained that there was nothing on her price ticket that indicated the stadium’s clear bag policy. As a celebrity with close ties to the Dodgers over the years, Elayne Boosler said she felt safety need to have simply let her in.

“I’ve sung the anthem right here 5 times, I’ve been inside the sales space 50 times, I’ve completed everything more for Dodger Stadium a comic can do,” the comedian said.

But security wouldn’t backpedal. Then, Boosler stated it got “heated” with one specific safety officer, who threatened to have her arrested for trespassing if she didn’t leave.

“I said, ‘Fine, arrest me,’” she claimed. Security obliged, cuffing her and placing her inside the lower back of a squad vehicle.

The team determined to press expenses due to the only relentless safety officer, she stated.

The comic, crowned the “First Lady of Stand-Up” by way of Rolling Stone within the Nineteen Eighties, couldn’t help but crack a shaggy dog story even as she turned into cuffed to a bench on the Dodger Stadium workplace.

“They be counted all the coins to your handbag and then you need to log off on it,” Elayne Boosler defined. “They said, ‘You have $371 cash in your handbag’ and I stated, ‘Well yes, we have been planning on shopping for  hot puppies and water.’”

The Dodgers declined to touch upon the incident, KTLA reported.

On Monday Boosler uploaded a video that has more than 15,000 views and became famous in no time. Some humans criticized her for watching for special treatment.

The Dodgers’ policy, which is much like groups’ all through the league, lovers are not allowed to herald luggage, backpacks, seaside luggage, tough or tender coolers, and massive handbags.

Only adult diaper bags, diaper luggage that accompanies infants, and clear plastic bags smaller than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are authorized. Non-clear wristlets and clutches no larger than 5″ x 8″ x 2″ are also allowed.

“For someone who’s been to the stadium as normally as you are announcing you’ve got. It’s a chunk peculiar you don’t recognize the clear bag policy that’s at almost every stadium now,” one individual commented on Boosler’s video.
